Volunteer to see a pre-screened patient in your own office through Donated Dental Services (DDS), a program of Dental Lifeline Network • Alaska.

If you want to volunteer and help patients in need, but prefer the comfort of your own office, equipment and staff, the Donated Dental Services (DDS) program is for you. DDS assists patients with disabilities, those who are elderly or medically fragile and cannot afford treatment.

  • Review the patient profile in advance
  • Choose to see or decline any patient
  • See patients in your own office
  • Never pay lab costs
  • No paperwork for office staff

Your DDS Coordinator will:

  • Ensure that patients arrive on time
  • Be the liaison between your staff and the patient to facilitate treatment
  • Arrange for assistance from specialist and laboratories
