A new law will make it easier for veterans to get health care and will also benefit dentists and physicians who work for Veterans Affairs facilities.

Washington — A new law will make it easier for veterans to get health care and will also benefit dentists and physicians who work for Veterans Affairs facilities.

The Veterans Affairs Maintaining Systems and Strengthening Integrated Outside Networks Act — or MISSION Act — was signed into law June 6. It would streamline the department’s community care programs as well as ensure veterans don’t experience a lapse in health care services, including dental care.
