ADPAC Chair Responds to JADA Article
Drs. Glick and Wendell obviously stirred thought and reaction in their March editorial regarding midlevel providers.  No matter where one stands on the issue, everyone must be very clear that this is as much a political process as it is a scientific process, perhaps even more so.  Legislators at all levels have or will have their opinions.  To effectively have the opportunity to make our case in the political arena, we need to understand THEIR processes, which includes campaign contributions to political 'Friends of Dentistry'.  It is critical that all dentists generously support our state PAC's and ADPAC to have the resources to compete.
